We know that fear and intimidation by management is probably the single largest hurdle to overcome in a Union drive.
The only way to get a Union Vote is to get a majority (51%) of the workforce to sign a TWU Authorization Card.
It is very difficult to recruit Dealers on three different shifts who are willing to put their jobs on the line by passing out and collecting " TWU Authorization Cards" because of the "fear factor".
Then, even if we are able to get Dealers on all shifts to pass out and collect cards, there is still the fear of being spotted by an "illegal spy" of management, and having that "spy" tell management who is signing cards.
We understand and empathize with that fear.
Well, we have come up with the solution!
We have linked a TWU Authorization Card onto this page!
With the utilization of this file, Dealers do not have to "stick their necks out" with the distribution process.
In addition, those signing the cards now will not have to fear being seen accepting the card or turning the card back in!
MANAGEMENT WILL NEVER SEE THESE CARDS!
PLEASE DO NOT DELAY RETURNING THE CARDS!

Instructions for obtaining an Authorization Card:

- Print the Authorization Card;
- Fill out and sign the Authorization Card;

Once the majority of the Dealers have signed and returned the Authorization Cards, TWU will then petition the NLRB for a "Secret Ballot" to determine if the Dealers will be represented by TWU in a Union Bargaining Process which results in a Union Collective Bargaining Agreement (contract).
If you know someone who does not have computer access and who wants to sign an Authorization Card, PLEASE PRINT AN EXTRA COPY for them and give it to them privately.
