(Wynn Dealers) vs. Wynn" appeal will be heard in front of the
Nevada
Supreme Court on
Monday
April 7, 2008.
If
you are a tip earner, this affects you!!!
We
want the Nevada court system to enforce the law and stop billion dollar
casino operators from taking our tips to pay their management and
protect all of Nevada’s tip earners from having their tips confiscated
now or in the future. This is your livelihoods and futures on the
line!

We
will be peacefully demonstrating our opposition to tip
confiscation in front of the
Regional
Justice Center building
on
the day of the hearing.
If
you wish to participate, just show up between
9:30AM
and 11:30AM.

- PEST Committee ANSWER
and CROSS COMPLAINT
Attorneys’
representing the committee to Prevent Employers from Seizing Tips (PEST)
has filed their Answer and Cross Complaint with the federal court and is
now a matter of public record. They did a brilliant job. It is not only
an indictment against Wynn and co-complainants but also against the
Nevada
political and legal system and how they conduct business. This federal
scrutiny and attention brought on by Wynn is not going to be
appreciated.

The Nevada Supreme Court appeal of the Wynn Dealer's case will be argued
on 4/7/08 11 a.m.
It is hoped a favorable decision for the dealers will be issued shortly
after that date.
3-1-08 - March
19/Union Rally/Labor Commissioner Hearing:
The Hearing and Union Rally for 3/19/08 have been cancelled.
Wynn
attorneys have filed for and been granted a continuance (delay) of the
Labor Commissioner hearing originally scheduled for March 19, 2008.
The attorneys will speak with the Labor Commissioner's representative on
7/16/08 at 9 a.m. to discuss things further and to possibly set a new
hearing date. Check back here for updated information.
